Preliminary Programme:

Scientific & Technical Programme

The EBC Selection committee acting together with the chairpersons of the committees and groups have come up with a fantastic programme, reflecting a good balance between traditional brewing science and current industry issues. For the first time, EBC has made use of an on-line reviewing system which was deemed a vast improvement on previous procedures. In line with recommendations made by various sources, EBC has reduced the number of lectures by approximately 15% compared to previous congresses to take the stress factor out of the congress, even though a limited number of parallel sessions are still being retained. For more information please refer to our Provisional Programme which will be available on-line in January 2009.

Submission of posters

Proposals for posters should be submitted before 9 January 2009. Please use the online submission system that can be found here. Speakers and poster presenters will enjoy a considerable reduction in the registration fees.

Exhibition

Following the success of the previous congresses, EBC will again organize an exhibition for suppliers to the brewing industry, research institutes and brewing schools. The exhibition will be ideally located in the area where also the beer dispense and hospitality areas are set up, close to the scientific and technical posters. The exhibition can be visited every day as from Monday, 11 May 2009 from 12:30 hrs. Publication of details regarding the exhibition is foreseen for mid-summer. Please continue to visit this website for information and regular updates.
